Ted Roka is currently the Managing Partner at Kalekeni Kaphale Lawyers, a firm of legal practitioners based in Blantyre but with presence across the country. He is a holder of a masters degree in Commercial (LLM, Commercial Law) and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB Hons) both obtained from the University of Malawi. He also holds a Certificate in Financial Management (CFM) obtained from the Malawi College of Accountancy (MCA). He has 13 years standing at the Malawi Bar having been admitted to practice law in Malawi in October 2008. Ted Roka has worked with various institutions both in the public and private sector. He has worked for The Ministry of Justice (Legal Aid Department) as Senior Legal Aid Advocate, University of Malawi, Chancellor College (Faculty of Law) as Lecturer in Law. In the 13 years of practice, Ted Roka has conducted extensive litigation in the Industrial Relations Court (IRC) which is a specialized court dealing with labour matters, the High Court of Malawi, the Supreme Court of Malawi and also the COMESA Court of Justice.
